The Yasuni National Park is one the most diverse areas in the world; it is a convergence point for three unique regions, the Equator, Andes Mountains, and the Amazon rainforest. This tour will combine hiking, kayaking, and camping in the wild. All these activities will give you a different experience in the Amazon rainforest. After this tour, you will have experienced something that no other lodge offers.

Flexible Itinerary

The times and length of the hikes are flexible and defined by the guide the day before. The guide may modify the plan on any particular day based on weather, wildlife activity, recent sighting information, and other factors.

Day 1: Arrival at Wild Mandari
Day 2: Hiking the "Peccari Trail" *
Day 3: Rio Tiputini and the Casa de la Abuela
Day 4: Visit the Parrot Clay Lick
Day 5: Exploring the Anaconda Lagoon
Day 6: Deep Amazon Kayaking, return to Wild Mandari
Day 7: Return to Coca
Not included:

 

  1. Transportation Quito – Coca – Quito by bus
  2. Additional beverages and snacks; extra meals in Coca before and after the tour
  3. Rain ponchos (can be purchased in Coca before the tour if needed; highly recommended for adequate protection from heavy Amazon rains)

TRAVEL TO AND FROM COCA

 

  1. On the first day of the tour, passengers are met in Coca in the morning (approx. 10 AM).
  2. At the end of the tour, passengers will be in Coca by about 10 AM, and can take a flight or bus to their next destination. This may change upon flight availability.
  3. Passengers beginning their tour in the morning will have the option to stop at a local restaurant for breakfast (not included), this restaurant is operated by a Kichwa women’s association to benefit community conservation projects.

There is limited electricity at the lodge; there is a charging station for electronics which functions from 5 pm to 9 pm. There is electric lighting during these hours.

There is no luggage limit weight that you can bring to the lodge.
