Distinct from any other lodge in the Amazon, Wild Mandari is a unique option for your visit to the spectacular Amazon region of Ecuador. Located in an isolated zone of nearly untouched rainforest within the Yasuni National Park, one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet, this campsite is designed to give visitors the most authentic experience possible in this fantastic region.

Each room is thoughtfully crafted to blend safari-style simplicity with authentic Kichwa architectural elements, creating a space that feels both grounded and immersive. Built primarily with natural materials from the surrounding forest—including local hardwoods, woven palm leaves, and a traditional thatched roof—the design keeps interiors cool, shaded, and in harmony with the rhythms of the jungle. For added durability and sustainability, we integrate modern materials like steel in the base structure, ensuring long-term stability while minimizing environmental impact.
Our spaces are intentionally open to the environment — allowing you to fall asleep to the chorus of tree frogs, awaken with the sunrise filtering through the canopy, and enjoy the comfort of a thoughtfully designed space that enhances your connection to the forest. There are no harsh lines here — only the soft blend of rustic textures, handcrafted details, and sustainable elegance.

Tented Rooms on
Raised Platforms
Wild Mandari features eight elevated tented rooms built on wooden platforms along the Tiputini River. Each space is designed for comfort and deep connection to the rainforest, with thatched roofs, screened walls, and private hammocks overlooking the jungle.
Wake up to howler monkeys, fall asleep to frogs and night birds, and breathe in fresh Amazon air from your veranda. Rooms are available as doubles, triples, or quadruples — perfect for couples, families, or friends exploring Yasuní together.
Lodge Facilities
Bathroom:
4 platforms share 2 bathroom structures, each with 2 showers and 2 ecological dry toilets.
There are 4 accommodations with a private bathroom. To secure any of these accommodations, subject to availability, please book as soon as possible.
Hot water is not available at the lodge.
Water:
- Filtered water is used for cooking, and large bottles of purified water are available for drinking and to refill water bottles.
Electricity:
- A small and quiet generator is used from 5 pm to 9 pm to power our charging station and light the kitchen. Otherwise there is no electricity at the lodge.
Communications:
- Satellite internet service is offered but limited. A satellite phone is available for emergencies.
