the lodge
We offer accommodations in comfortable tents, safari style, instead of enclosed cabins. Connect with the jungle in a way not possible in a traditional lodge; experience the sounds of the birds, animals, and rivers and sense your surroundings in your sheltered, elevated comfortable tents.
Distinct from any other lodge in the Amazon, Mandari Panga Camp is a unique option for your visit to the spectacular Amazon region of Ecuador. Located in an isolated zone of nearly untouched rainforest within the Yasuni National Park, one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet, this campsite is designed to give visitors the most authentic experience possible in this fantastic region.

THE LOCATION OF YASUNI NATIONAL PARK
The Yasuni National Park is Ecuador's largest continental protected area, located within the provinces of Orellana and Pastaza.
Mandari Panga Camp is one of the two tourist facilities actually within the National Park, our location sets us apart from nearly all other Amazon lodges. About an hour by motorized canoe from the center of the Mandari Panga community, our campsite in nearly untouched rainforest along the Tiputini River is totally isolated from other lodges and communities offering peace and tranquility unmatched by any other lodge. Indeed, few humans have ever explored this part of the Amazon.
How to get there
Orellana Province Map
Our tour begins in Coca (Puerto Francisco de Orellana), where you'll be met by our staff when you arrive and we begin our journey in private transportation traveling south along a major paved road for about 40 minutes.
We then turn onto a dirt road used primarily by oil companies, and we’ll travel along this road for about 50 minutes to the entrance of the Yasuni National Park and the Tiputini river.
There, we board a motorized canoe and begin our journey to the camp. At the beginning of our journey in our canoe, the National Park will be on the right bank of the river, while we’ll see a few homes and small farms on the left bank.
After about 30 minutes, we’ll pass the Mandari Panga community and enter into the into the untouched rainforest of the Yasuni National Park, and after another 60 minutes we’ll arrive at the Mandari Panga camp.
The total travel time is about 3 hours.
Getting to Coca from Quito
If your journey starts in Quito, there are two ways to reach the city of Coca (Francisco de Orellana).

Latam and www.aeroregional.net offer regular flights, there is only one flight in the morning per day on each way.
Our tours schedule are fit to catch these flight times.
